I want to buy a laptop. Not sure about the brand now. I want to buy one at a reasonable price. The thing is that i’m travelling to Paris, London and Amsterdam next month and I wonder if anybody knows a place where to shop and see some laptops. I don’t know where it could be much cheaper. Will I only be able to buy one with Windows Vista pre-installed or is it still possible to get one with XP Professional as the operating system ?
Also is there anyone out there who previously rubbished Vista but has now come around to thinking that it is not so bad after all?
I don’t know much about laptops. My daughter wants a laptop for Christmas but wondered if net books are the same. Also does it come all complete ready to start up or would I need accessories such as Virus software and would it be set up for internet connection or do I need mobile broadband?
